Pocahontas will always be in my top 10 purely because this was the first ever Disney movie I was introduced to as a child and I fell madly in love with John Smith. I even used to have a toy John Smith and Pocahontas when I was little along with my Lion King Pride Rock Play set.

Nearly 4 months ....

So i have just realized I haven't post anything on my blog for nearly 4 months naughty me. It isn't because I couldn't be bothered I've just had a massive writers block. Perfect time for any update? Yes I think so!

I've been living with Joel now for just over 3 months although it feels like for ever which isn't a bad thing as I feel it has brought us closer together as couple more of a unit which is brilliant. It just works we still have our own space when we want it especially when I'm working and hes not or the other way around.

We have just booked a holiday to Germany at the start of November for Joel's birthday which I am really looking forward to as both of us haven't been before neither have we been on a proper holiday together in the 3 half years of our relationship. We will be staying in Berlin for 4 nights and have lots of things we want to do planned like going up TV Tower which is the tallest building in Berlin with 360 degree views as well as going to Berlin Zoo.

Other than that there isn't much else really going, only 12 days until my birthday cant believe how quick its come around only feels like yesterday I was celebrating my 21st where does time go? This year I am keeping it low key just having a few days of and relaxing as I don't have very much money.

Other exciting news is my bestie is coming back from France in a week for a few days, she has been away working out there for the last 8 and half months which feels like for EVER! Its gone really fast but I am dying to see her its been way to long missed her so much.

How is everyone else?
I try and promise I wont leave it so long next time.

Northern Ireland

Morning all,

How are we all doing? I've been a bit dormant for well a while now so I apologies for my absence I've been really busy at work at the moment and this is where I usually find the time on my lunch breaks to write my posts.

So last time I left you guys I was only a few days off visiting Northern Ireland with my boyfriend to get introduced to the family. I had a really good time actually, his family were so welcoming and made me feel right at home. We didn't get up to too much which was nice in a way as it is nice to relax for once unlike my usual holiday

Whilst over there he showed me around his local area, where his friends lived and where he went to school and would hang out. We went and took a walk around the Craigavon Lakes which were a 40 minuet walk from him house which was lovely, I managed to get some really good photos of the swans and ducks whilst there.

We also went in to Belfast on two occasions, the first being to celebrate St Paddy's Day early with his two best friends Jayne and Dave. We went to a place called Bubeque with is an amazing American style BBQ meat place. I had a beef brisket sandwich, corn bread and mac n cheese, if your ever in Belfast hit this place up its amazing and the service is so quick.

We went on a bit of bar/pub crawl and had a drink in each pub. The pubs other there are awesome they're all really different and none of them are alike. One we went to had this vintage theme to it in the balcony seating area with floral prints and the next one had booths, it was an old pub which is leased out by the national trust ... I paid £6.20 for a Jack Daniels and coke I wanted to cry :'(

We ended the night at this place called Alley Cat which is another American style food restaurant which also has a bar so me and Jayne ended up having a tea pot cocktail :D

On our second trip to Belfast we went and did some shopping and looked at the sights. I managed to persuade my boyfriend to let me go to the Titanic Quarter which is a museum dedicated to the Titanic. This is a museum which walked around at your own passe which is quiet good and is split into lots of sections and different eras before the titanic was built, when it was being built and what happened after it happened.

I found it really interesting to take more of a look in to what happened, and the events leading up to the disaster. I would recommend it but it is quiet expensive.

Hope your all well

Update ....

Hey people, hope you enjoyed my latest blog about Disney sorry if it was a bit waffley I tried to make it not but it happened anyways. Good weekend? What you get up too?

I've been quiet busy as it happens with the whole house malarkey as we were meant to be moving out in April/May but realised financially to be able to afford the fees, rent and deposit we really needed to save a tone more money. So luckily were able to move it to May/June now meaning me and my partner will be in a better state money wise and wont end up leaving our self's broke as joke haha.

Although I'm super excited to be moving out, its taking our relationship to a new level really and I think with where he lives at the moment and the hours he works that we need to live together and will be just so much better for us as a couple. Gees I am defo going to miss my mum and her company and my aunt but at the same time Its time to grow up and have some more responsibility. Plus buying things is so exciting :D

I went to see Miranda last night in Cardiff ... wait for it ... SUCH FUN haha, she was absolutely hilarious i am a massive fan of her tv show and in Call The Midwife where she plays Chumy its funny watching her in that as you can see her slight comedian way coming through but anyways her tour was such a laugh she had us dancing, singing and was giving out free food hah. She has me crying with laughter the whole way through cant beat a good laugh.

On Friday I'm off to the land of the Irish with my boyfriend to visit his family as he lives here in the UK, meeting the in laws as I call them for the first time. I have face timed with them before and spoken on the phone but I guess that's not really the same as them being less than a metre in front of you. Tbh I am not really nervous at all I'm looking forward to seeing his neck of the woods and meeting his friends and family as he has with mine.

Were going to be going Belfast Zoo, it looks amazing and is massive as well as shopping and admiring the country side areas as Ive heard Northern Ireland is beautiful.

This is my 3rd attempt at an update Blog and tbh I still really don't know how to lay it out doh!

I will be sure to post photos and a bit about how it went when I am back!
Take Care!!!

Disneyland Paris ...

Bonjour, So its been a month since Disney ...

Thanks to everyone who took the time to look at my recent blog posts, I really appreciated it but on wards and upwards as promised here is a quick snappy non waffling blog post about my trip to Disney a few weeks ago.

I'm not going to bother with the I went to the airport blah blah blah stuff, I'm just going to dive right in with what to do, what not to do, what we did, who we met, where to eat and then in a separate post I am going to post about the Disney Dreams Show, Disney Stars n Cars and Disney Magic on Parade otherwise it will make this long winded haha plus it will be mostly photos.

We stayed in one of the Disney Hotels right by the park, we had chosen Hotel New York as me and my best friend love New York and with going there last year we thought why not and it happened to be closest to the park with a walk of 5 minuets. It was rather funny cause we had someone bring our bags up to our room which I've never had done before.

I'd give the hotel a 8/10 as it was overall a really nice stay, the breakfast that was included was lovely a full range of things available to have so there is something for everyone. The overall look of the hotel was really nice well presented and had a lovely atmosphere.

There are two parks at Disneyland Paris the first one being the main Disney Park and then the later added on Walt Disney Studios. Both these parks are really big with plenty of rides, shops, places to eat and things to do.

The Disney Park being the main park is split in to 4 sub sections with the iconic Sleeping Beauty Castle right in the center of the park. Main Street USA is where you walk as you enter the park and walk towards the castle. This is pretty much shops and a few places to grab a bite to eat.

The parks 4 sections are Fantasyland, Adventureland, Frontierland and Discoveryland. Each of these different parks have a variety of things to do and see and places to eat. I wouldn't say I have a favourite land but I do have a few rides which I did enjoy.

Peter Pans flight, Space Mountain, Pirates of the Caribbean Ride and Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast were a few of the rides we did a second time but I will tell you now "Its A Small World" is worth doing but it is annoying and creepy and the song oh god that will be stuck in your head all day.

Walt Disney Studios came after the Disney Park and is amazing so many of the best rides are located in this park, it isn't split in to sections but there are more interactive shows and performance here which are all free which is a bonus.

Toystory Playland is a must do, it basically is what it says an section of the park dedicated to Toy Story. In this section there is 3 rides and a lot of photo opportunity's.

The parachute drop is based on the toy soldiers in the films, your basically lifted to the top of these wires and dropped about 4 times, the ride lasts less that 5mins but the most annoying this is it takes longer to load and unload the ride than it takes once on it.

The RC ride is a small roller coaster which basically goes back and forth up a pieces of curved track, getting higher each time until at the top. You are riding in RC at the time as well it is brilliant. There is also a slinky ride which just goes around and around in a circle.

Other rides in this park which are a must do are ...

Crush Coaster base on Finding Nemo which was the longest que time ever for 75mins at a time although once in the line it moves swiftly. Your sat in pairs of 2 one facing forwards and one facing backwards and it spins around once moving kind of like mouse trap at the local fairs that come to your town is the best way to describe it.

Tower Of Terror is one of the most amazing rides ever, its set in an old skool hotel and is set behind a story regarding the lifts and service elevators. The most creepiest thing about it is that its all in French so it makes it more scarier as you actually don't know what they're saying.
I'm not going to say anymore as I don't want to spoil the surprise.

Rock n Roller Coaster starring Aerosmith is an inside loops and turns roller coaster which is done to the sound of music. Its all in the dark with flashing lights and effects and in the restraint of your seat is Aerosmith Music playing as you ride. Its absolutely brilliant we did this for a 2nd time.

Disney Village well where to begin it has everything you could ever need, places to eat and shop what more could you want. Its a quirky little area which has the main restaurants including Starbucks and Mcdonalds. This is where you would go to do your main shopping, there is shops within the Disney Parks themselves but the main shops are located here. The best shop of all is the recently opened "World Of Disney" which has literally everything you could ask for!!!

We weren't lucky enough to get to go in the new Lego shop opening up as it was opening a few weeks after we had left which is a shame because it looked amazing.

Ok so there is loads of places to eat in Disney so don't worry about being stuck for choice at all. We ate in 4 of the different restaurants in the Disney Village which is where the main ones are but there are other places to eat dotted around both parks. We ate in Annetts Dinner, Rainforset Cafe, Cafe Mickey (Highly Recommended, see other blog) and in Planet Hollywood. They all do similar food but with they're own twist.

As for snacks I recommend the Cable Car Bake Shop, they do the best chocolate cake I have ever tasted. Its called Mums Chocolate Cake and it looks a little dry from the outside but once you have taken a bite it is so moist and delicious you will want more (I did go back for another slice hehe)

We meet a fair few people in Disney although I would have liked to have met more if I'm honest just the only problem is they didn't seem to que over there so meant you would be waiting and someone would push in. Also it seemed that it was the same people about the whole time and then the following week looking online more people had come out once we left which was a tad annoying.

We managed to meet Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, Buzz Lightyear, Eeyore, Tigger, Captain Hook, Smea, Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum, The Queen of Hearts and Chip n Dale. There was a few other meet n greet opportunities but we didn't do them like meeting the princess which I now wish I had done ... Maybe next time ;)

On our last day in Disney it was quiet eventful as it seemed every ride we attempted to go on broke down. First of all we got in the que for Tower of Terror and was told one of the lifts had broken down so we decided to go to the Areo Smith roller coaster which was working at the time but once in the line there was an announcement saying it had broken down but would be working shortly. The line was then closed and we overheard people were stuck but 15mins later the ride re opened. Just after we had our turn on the ride it broke down again so we were lucky that we weren't mid ride. Phew that would have been my biggest nightmare.

Then going back to Tower of Terror now 2 out of 3 lifts were closed due to faults which is a bit worrying especially when its your turn they send you to one of the ones that was broken down. Not our luck that day really as the Run away train kept breaking down the only one we hadn't done yet qued for 30 mins to be told we had to leave the que not pleased at all other than that ride we managed to do all of the ones which weren't closed so feel quiet please :D

So in a nutshell there is a review and an incite in to my holiday, sorry if it was waffling and boring :D but I hope you enjoyed the photos anyways ;)
