In A Nutshell ... At Cafe Mickey

Long time no see fellow blog viewers, hope your all keeping well and sorry for the lack of blogging recently been very busy and I've been away to Disney as some of you may know.

Well before I do an overall post regarding my trip to Disney, I am going to do a review of a restaurant that we visited whilst there which is a great laugh and fun for all the family and adults of course ;)

Cafe Mickey
On our 2nd night in Disney we decided why not go to Cafe Mickey which is a restaurant situated in the Disney Village. Its basically where you dine with the Disney characters whether this being breakfast, lunch or an evening meal there is always a vast variety of characters that come and go during your meal.

When we visited we opted for a 3 course meal which has good lengths of time between each course, we thought this was the best idea as it meant you could spend a lot more time in the restaurant. If going for an evening meal I would advise going around 6pm as this is when it is most quiet so it means you get more one on one time as they move from table to table.

The characters are never the same, we may have only been once but as we stayed in one of the Disney Hotels so you walk through the Disney Village everyday so we did see a variety of characters inside.

When we visited we had the pleasure of dinning with Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Pluto, Goofy, Tigger and Eeyore. We had also seen in there whilst walking past Chip n Dale the chipmunks, Geppetto from Pinocchio, Donald, Jessie from Toy Story, Smee from Peter Pan, Genie from Aladdin, Rabbit, Dasiy, Hock and Stitch. So there is a massive variety of people you have the chance to meet.

So the food isn't exactly cheap but then again none of the restaurants are in Disney so be prepared to pay the price. Our 3 course meal and a drink came to 38.79 euros which is about £32 so in reality it isn't that bad cost wise.

For our starter we had Fantasia Mushrooms, Sirloin Steak for the main and a giant Profiterole which had chocolate sauce and whipped cream on the side with ice cream on the inside which was amazing. We sat down at half 5 and our starter came at 18:00 and we were done by 19:00 so it meant there was a decent time in between each course and plenty of time to spend with the characters.

So in a nutshell we were pounced upon by Pluto and Tigger and my best friend upset Goofy. It was a great laugh and the best dinning experience I've ever had so was worth the money and would recommend for anyone of any age.

I give this a 10/10 on the marking scale :D
