I love making new friends especially with people who share the same passions and interests as myself and that is why recently I have enjoyed interacting with people on Instagram. On Friday just gone I was lucky to have a day off work and travel to Birmingham to meet up with two friends of mine that I have never met before.
I set off at 9am and got the train from Bristol to Birmingham and the first lovely lady I met was Kim who I have been friends with for years now. I'm not actually 100% sure if we met on Instagram or through something else but either way we have been online friends for ages now and it was great to have the opportunity to meet her.
We decided to meet at 11am and go and grab some lunch before popping to the shops mostly the Disney Store. Kim brought her daughter along called Sophie for a girly day out and she was the most cutest little girl I have ever met she was so well behaved and by the end of our time together she had come out of her shell.
We went for lunch in a pub called "The Brasshouse" which is right by the canal side and the walk along the canal in the shinning sun made it so much better. As we got there early we decided to have a drink before spending a good half and hour actually deciding what wanted. Me and Kim both went for burgers mine being cheese and chorizo and hers was a sweet potato burger.
Both of these were amazing and such a good size as well as Sophie's kids meal as well. For dessert me and Sophie had Chocolate Fudge Cake and Kim had Rocky Road Cheesecake. I would definitely eat here again the location, staff and food were both lovely.
After food we took a stroll back to the shopping centre and had a little look around before is was 3pm and time for me to meet another new friend called Sabrina. Now Sabrina is the lovely lady who makes my Disney Ears which are incredible and probably over the last 5 months we have been talking loads via Instagram and as we couldn't meet at Hyper Japan we decided to meet up and do some shopping.
We started in the Disney Store of course having a look around before making our way to some other shops before ending up in Wagamama's for an evening meal and yes before you ask I did manage to eat it all haha but after all the walking around and fresh air I needed some more food and you know me a proper foodie.
It was so lovely to finally meet both of them and what is great is that I got on with both of them like we had met up before and it wasn't our first time. I'm quite a nervous shy person at times so I'm glad that it all went well and there was no awkward silences which can happen. Kim and Sabrina were both such lovely people and we have so much in common I can't wait to meet them again for more adventures.

2016 Plans so Far!
OK so when I actually started writing this I named it "2015 Plans so Far" so that just proves even 20 days in and Im still not used to it being 2016. Last year just flew by in a flash and it was filled with so many great memories and adventures,
Wonder what 2016 will bring? At this moment in time I don't have a lot planned but I do have a few things planned and a few things in the pipe line if all goes to plan.
5 Year Anniversary
I can't believe in less than 2 weeks me and my partner Joel would have been together for 5 years, it has honestly flown by and feels like we have been together forever. We have had our ups and downs but we have got through them and especially since moving in together things have gotten much better.
Were not doing nothing massive but we have both taken a few days off so we can relax together and were going to head to bath to the best Italian there called Sotto Sotto which is rated number 1 out of 438 restaurants. I'll be sure to review once we have been.
The Vamps Tour
OK so I am 23 years old and yes I know the Vamps boys are like 20 years old and when ever we go to a gig apart from the parents looking after they're children we are the oldest ones there hehe! Not that it bothers me at all cause I love they're music and I'm not afraid to say it!
Were seeing them in Birmingham and staying over the night in a hotel which means only one thing shopping and food is a must. When ever me and my best friend do anything if there is an Ed's Diner near by then we must stop by and have a burger.
Disney On Ice Anniversary
Last year as you know I went to see Disney On Ice for the 1st time in Birmingham with my best friend (Samiee by the way shes the one I everything with hehe) and it was incredible and we decided that we would go and see the next one and funnily enough not long after I got an email with a pre release offer for the Silver Anniversary Show which this time is in Cardiff which is way better for us.
Once again we managed to get amazing seats only a few rows from the front and this time its going to include Lion King, Peter Pan with Tinkerbell along with Frozen, Little Mermaid and the main gang again.
Emma Emma Emma!
Who said you can't make friends online? Well you definitely can, I met the most amazing person called Emma on Instagram over our mutual love for Disney and Sims wasn't until last October that we really got talking and started to have facetime chats every so often.
I am gutted that she lives 4 and half hours away in Carlie but that doesn't stop us as she is coming to stay for a few days in April and I cannot wait!!!!
Disneyland Paris 25th Anniversary and my 25th Birthday
If you haven't gathered by now I am a massive Disney freak then well I don't know hah. I've been to DLP (Disneyland Paris) 2 times now and I cannot get enough and I am not bothered that it isn't Florida or California I have plenty of time in my life to go there and its going to cost a lot of money so for now I am content with DLP.
Next year they are celebrating they're celebrating they're 25th Anniversary from the 12th April 2017 on wards, hopefully it will be the same as they're 20th and it will last until the end of 2017 and on in to 2018. So my plan is as I'm 25 years old as well that I would make a special trip for my birthday. I am hoping to go with the above Emma and we have already planned so much I cannot wait just need to wait for final costs so we can put down our deposit!
Family Holiday to Newquay/Christmas In Northern Ireland
This year we are going on a family trip down to Cornwall over the May school holidays and this will be out first holiday together in over 10 years. We are staying in a Caravan in a holiday park and there is so much to do but also in the surrounding area. Literally everyone is coming so it makes it even better!
Thinking about Christmas already? Yes I know but when you plan to travel you need to think of these things way in advance with booking holiday and flights but this year we are planning to go and stay with Joel's parents in NI which will be great to see all his family and friends again.

What I Got For Christmas!
Back at work now for 2 days so glad its only 2 days, I had such a lovely Christmas break from work which was great but getting up this morning was definitely a struggle I was looking forward to.
On Christmas Eve I went to my mums for our Christmas eve tradition of watching Scrogged and having a yummy hot chocolate.
Christmas was slightly different this year as me and my boyfriend cooked just for us both this year and for the 1st time ever cooking a giant Turkey but I have to say we did really well getting it cooked to perfection and getting everything cooked on time. We then went over to my mums to see the rest of the family and to do Secret Santa once the kids had open they're presents from me.
I was very spoilt this year got lots of amazing presents from my boyfriend and his family and then my Secret Santa and best friend.
I have been so lucky to receive such amazing presents everyone knows me so well, my dad just buys us a voucher so we can buy what ever we would like. With mine this year I spent it mostly on Box Sets I needed to catch up on,
I brought Downton Abbey season 5 and the Christmas Special, Our Girl, New Girl Season 4, an anime series called Clannad and Inside Out on DVD. I also got myself the new Sims 4 expansion pack Get Together and some Tsum Tsum.
I really enjoyed spending time with my family on Christmas Day and Boxing Day and next year it will be even more different with me going to Northern Ireland to stay at my Partners.
I hope you all had the most amazing Christmas and I wish you all a Happy New Year! Immy xoxox

Forever Saying ...
I'm forever saying that my life isn't exciting but when I sit down and actually think about it, that is a massive lie ... I don't really understand why I say this?
I am very lucky to have the most amazing family, boyfriend and best friends who I do absolutely loads of stuff with.
This year is quiet a big deal for me as me and boyfriend will have been together for 3 years, and its now time that I fly the nest and set up home with him. I've never done the whole living away from home whilst at university so leaving home is going to be quiet a big deal, I have an amazing relationship with my mum who i wouldn't change for the world she means absolutely everything to me.
There are defiantly somethings I will not miss but isn't that the same with everyone really, but the things I will miss will defiantly out weigh the not going to miss like my aunty's company and her cooking of course (sorry joel ahah)
Were looking to move out in the summer so May/June time so if I'm still keeping up this whole blog malarkey I'll be sure to fill you in on all the dramas and excitement that's sure to come with it. I cannot wait to start a new chapter of my life and with someone so special.
As for the rest of 2014 I have so much stuff planned its unreal, doing most of this with my bestie Samiee aka Blondie (Jemmy we need to do more things, Paris sometime soon?)

Whats everyone else's plans for 2014? What changes are happening to you this year?
