Happy 24th Birthday to ME!

I cannot believe that today is my 24th Birthday and that its already pretty much half way through September and I am off to Disneyland Paris on Saturday for my long awaited day trip.

I have been absolutely spoilt by my partner, family and best friends this year and I am so grateful! I was lucky enough to get my birthday off from work as we are a small company so took a long 4 day weekend.

This morning I woke up to presents and cards from everyone before we headed out for breakfast this was just my mum, Liz and my two sisters as Joel and my brother were working. We went to this place called Venue 35 which is a family run business and we all had a fry up a full monty in fact it was amazing one of the best fry ups I've had.

After breakfast I headed in to town to go shopping and spend some of my money and managed to get some black jeggings, new black heeled winter boots and 3 jumpers. My favourite by far was this Minnie/Mickey jumper.

Of my partner Joel he got me the Lumiere ornament to go with my Cogsworth clock and Chip mug along with some more Katy Perry's Mad Potion perfume and some of the best oreos ever Birthday Cake flavour.

These are the best tasting things ever! Who needs cake anyways ;)
How cute do they look together? Chip doesn't quite fit in that DVD slot
I originally wasn't too excited when I saw she was releasing this as the bottle looked like it was childish but actually I am glad I got some more because it smells amazing!

My mum and Liz got me a copy of the rare Pocahontas art work book from 1995, after a seller let us down I was so over the moon when she managed to get me a copy that was in such amazing condition. Along with this she gave me money, a beautiful Cheshire Cat mug which is the original Lewis Carol version and a giant gummy fried egg haha!

This book is something I thought I would never own and I am so glad to finally have a copy it is in incredible condition and just full of beautiful photos and drawings.
This is the most brilliant thing I have been given and tastes amazing actually as I wasn't sure if it would!
Such a nice surprise present from my mum from the Alice and Wonderland Collection at Whittard's and the fact that its classic Alice and not the Disney version makes it even better.

My best friend Emma managed to get me the new first ever Pocahontas Disney tradition that came out earlier this week and she is just beautiful! I hope Jim releases more!

Samiee my best friend also got me tickets to see Breakfast At Tiffany's on Stage in my local hometown theatre and I am so excited as I LOVE the movie and the book so it will be great to see it on stage! She also showed up with the most kawaii Hello Kitty balloon and I've never been given one on my birthday before hehe.

Off my dad, sisters and brother I received money which some of it I have put towards some clothes and the rest of it I am going to keep for a while and not just waste it.

Time for a good ole Chinese takeway with my best friend and parter and watch my Disney Movie marathon movie for today. Thanks to everyone for the kind messages, presents and love today. Love you all Immy xxx

Last Week On Instagram

So the highlight of last week was obviously booking my 25th Birthday Disneyland Paris break away with my best friend Emma. I am so over the moon and cannot wait to go next year but I have my day trip to plan for yet!

1. Upcoming Events - So this year I haven't really got a lot going on bit of a quiet year for some reason but I have got Hyper Japan in 24 days which I am so excited about after missing well forgetting to book tickets every other year this time I finally have done it!!!! My Birthday is fast approaching which means only one thing that its Disneyland Paris for the day a few days after!!!

2. Writers Block - Really struggling with blog content at the moment. I do have two blog posts in the pipe line but most of the blog posts I want to write are based on my Disney day trip and Disney holiday so can't really post or write those till near the time. I'm sure something will crop up or maybe I'll take a break for a while over the summer? Have to see!

3. Orange is the new Black - I have been waiting for this since the last season came out and damn it is soooo good, there is so many new characters in this season which keeps it fresh and exciting. So far I am on episode 8 so about half way through the season. I said I wouldn't binge watch but I kinda can't help it!

4. I went in for Dory - Yup I've brought more after I said I wasn't really going to be collecting anymore! After getting Dory a few weeks ago I went on a hunt to find Nemo but after finding Nemo on my second attempt I came across the Jungle Book collection by Posh Paws and after seeing how cute they are in person I couldn't say NO!!!!

5. Sunday Movie Time - Well obviously after picking up these Tsum Tsum I was really in the mood to watch the movie and I have to say it is one of my favourites.

6. Relaxation Class - I love my Sunday relaxation sessions. I honestly didn't think I would still be going now after going for my free taster session I wasn't sure what to expect but I really enjoyed it and the way it made me feel after was amazing! I have been going for nearly a year now which is mad but it helps me feel positive and relaxed plus it helps me sleep loads better.

1. Alice in Wonderland - As I was actually off Monday last week I decided I would get all cosy in  bed and rewatch Alice in Wonderland as on the Wednesday me and my best friend went to see Through The Looking Glass and it was AMAZING!!!! I preferred it so much more than the first it just seemed a lot better!

2. Sims 4 Dine Out - As mentioned above the long awaited TS4 Dine out was released, ever since this has been announced I have been eagerly been waiting for this to come out. I probably played for 3 hours so far and I have to say I prefer this so much more than running a shop. I'm thinking of maybe doing a review but who knows ;)

3. Tokyo Treat June Box - I won't bore you with anymore on this but you can read my review here ;)

4. New Pug Chopping Board - I love my Mum she knows how much I love stuff with pugs on and to go around to hers and to see she had picked me up this cute glass chopping board to go my cooker I was in love! Its just the cutest thing I've ever seen she also got me the mug <3

5. Bristol Zoo Work Summer Do - My work always has a summer do and this year we ended up going to Bristol Zoo for a buffet lunch, animal encounter and then did this high wire tree obstacle course. Luckily the weather stayed really nice just until we left when it decided to tip down with rain!!! We had the chance to go around the whole zoo as well which was great and lots of fun!

6. Fantastic Beasts and Where to find them - I have been eager to pick this book up for a while now and finally did on the weekend. I am so excited for the movie next year so I thought I may as well read the book so I know all the beasts that will mentioned in the movie!!!

Last Week On Instagram (Holiday Edition)

After 12 days of I am back on work boo hoo! Setting my alarm for 5;25am this morning sucked especially with how humid its been recently. Sleeping has been rather hard even when changing from a 13.5 to a 4.5 duvet its still HARD!!!

Anyway's as you know I've been away to Newquay down in Cornwall for a week with my family during the May school holidays so I thought I would do a Last Week on Instagram but a holiday edition maybe chucking in some other photos along the way.

We were so lucky to have the most perfect weather meaning that we were able to get out and about with the kids cause if it rained we would have been stuck on the camp site with not much else to do. The camp site its self was very good has lots of entertainment, places to eat, amusements and an amazing indoor pool with slides.

We ended up at the beach twice which was great even though we wish it was proper sand rather than a stony sand but the kids enjoyed it either way. We went to Newquay Zoo and Crealy adventure park as well which were both great days out for the kids.

On the Monday me and some of the group went to visit a National Trust house called Trerice House which is from the Elizabethan period once again it was the most beautiful day to look around the gardens and visit the house as each bits were from different eras as some of the end of the house was newly built. I love a good bit of History.

I had a lovely week away with my family it was a great laugh and lots of fun! No holiday now until next year which is a shame but will be worth the wait I'm sure!!!

What I Got For Christmas!

Back at work now for 2 days so glad its only 2 days, I had such a lovely Christmas break from work which was great but getting up this morning was definitely a struggle I was looking forward to.

On Christmas Eve I went to my mums for our Christmas eve tradition of watching Scrogged and having a yummy hot chocolate.

Christmas was slightly different this year as me and my boyfriend cooked just for us both this year and for the 1st time ever cooking a giant Turkey but I have to say we did really well getting it cooked to perfection and getting everything cooked on time. We then went over to my mums to see the rest of the family and to do Secret Santa once the kids had open they're presents from me.

I was very spoilt this year got lots of amazing presents from my boyfriend and his family and then my Secret Santa and best friend.

I have been so lucky to receive such amazing presents everyone knows me so well, my dad just buys us a voucher so we can buy what ever we would like. With mine this year I spent it mostly on Box Sets I needed to catch up on,

I brought Downton Abbey season 5 and the Christmas Special, Our Girl, New Girl Season 4, an anime series called Clannad and Inside Out on DVD. I also got myself the new Sims 4 expansion pack Get Together and some Tsum Tsum.

I really enjoyed spending time with my family on Christmas Day and Boxing Day and next year it will be even more different with me going to Northern Ireland to stay at my Partners.

I hope you all had the most amazing Christmas and I wish you all a Happy New Year! Immy xoxox

My Week Off!

Last week I was lucky enough to book a week off work meaning with the weekends I had 9 days off which was pure bliss and my week ended up being pretty busy in the end considering I only had a few things planned.

I started my first few days off by spending the weekend up in Swindon where my dad now lives after selling his house and moving in with his partner last year. So was quite nice to go up there and have a nice catch up.

I wasn't really expecting to do much whilst I was up there but we ended up doing a fair bit. On the Friday we went to watch "The Case of Sherlock Holmes" in the air theatre at Lydiard Park which is only 5 minuets walk from they're home. For those who don't know its massive park and estate house which is beautiful.

The show its self was really good it was small cast of 6 people who was telling one of the case story's from Sherlock, was brilliant and we took a picnic because the weather was lovely.

On the Saturday we got up and headed over to the Cotswold's to Chedworth Roman Villa's which is a National Trust property as my dad and his partner are both members of. We ended up doing a guided tour which lasted an hour and half but I learnt so much about the different time periods of the people who lived here. I do love a bit of History.

Then on Sunday before my dad took me back home we went down to Bowood House and Gardens for a visit which is another estate and house not from from Swindon. Its incredible what is on your door step and you don't even know it. Was such another lovely day as well, they had a police dog show on as well which was interesting to watch how they train all the different service dogs.

On the Tuesday me, my sister, Liz and the kiddy winks went to Noah's Ark Zoo Farm in Bristol which is a massive Zoo which is run on a farm yard. I have to admit that this is defiantly better than Bristol Zoo by far so many more variety of Animals.

They have Lions, Tigers, Elephants, Giraffe, Rhinos, Monkeys ... I could go on its crazy good and so much additional stuff for the kids to do. We went on a tractor ride around the farm which was very bumpy and watched an animal show where at the end we fed the lambs.

Well so this is the bit where the title comes from, so on the Friday me and my best friend are taking a trip to London to visit the Audrey Hepburn; Portraits of an Icon Exhibition in the National Portrait Gallery.

We set of pretty early to make sure were in Bristol to catch our coach at 10:10 am which is going all fine and dandy until he says sorry its broken down meaning we have to wait an additional 20 minuets for the new coach to arrive ... ok cool that's fine we got plenty of time to get there for 14:30 pm.

We set off about 10:30 am and are on our merry way to London until we stop in stand still traffic at that moment I can deal with it we still have 3 hours to get to London it isn't until it dawns on that we aren't going to make it till 14:20 pm (I am going mad now haha) so i get my best friend to give them a call and all is good they don't mind us being late.

So we get to London at 14:10 pm and manage to make it to the exhibition at 14:50 pm which lucky enough they let us in. I am sweating it out at this moment with all the running around and being stuck on the underground.

The Exhibition its self was incredible we were lucky enough to get a walk around by Terrance Pepper who wrote the book alongside the exhibition. I made friends with him via Instagram and he was happy enough to come meet me to sign my book and have a chat. He is an incredible man and so generous I learnt so much more that day thanks to him.

It is a collection of photos of Audrey through out her life starting from a young child up to when she died in 1993. Some of the photos are incredible in which some of them have never been seen before.

After that we grabbed some food and did a bit of shopping before another travelling nightmare began!!!! Getting back to the train station should have take 5mins on the underground giving us time to grab some food, go to the toilet and walk back to the coach station.

Well that is how it should have gone but no the underground breaks down one stop before we need to get off (Face Palm Moment) this is at 6:25 pm got plenty of time to make it back it gets to 6:35 pm and I start to panic so we get off the underground and attempt to walk haha bad mistake so end up legging it back down to the underground just as the announcement says "This train is ready to leave" thank god we made it by this time were back at Victoria by 6:45 pm leaving us 15 minuets to run to the coach station making it to our coach with a minuet to spare!!!!

I have never had such a s stressful day travelling my life!!!!!!!!!!!!

So my week of was lovely and I managed to get up to lots of things :) Any one else been up to much?

Hope you all have a lovely weekend <3
