A Sims Story

I've always fancied writing a story relating to a sim or sims family I've made but never got around to it. I always used to read the stories on the Sims 2 and Sims 3 community pages but never ended up doing one myself.

So I thought I might start my own on here with my 4th Generation Family, shame I didn't start with the legacy he had a very interesting story to tell ;)

I will try and post a chapter of they're story once a week depending on how much sim time I manage to play over the week or weekend.

Life Update ...

Wow! Its really nearly August already?

It's kind of scary how quick this year has gone. I've lived away from home for over a year now which is one of the best life choices I've made even though I still miss living with Mum and Liz it has helped me and my boyfriend grow closer as a couple even though I still think he thinks I don't love him as much as he loves me.

He's defiantly my soul mate and I cannot wait to spend the rest of my life with him and in the future get married and have our own little family but for now I want to enjoy my life and do some travelling when I can.

If there is one thing me and my boyfriend have always agreed on is that friends and family are important and that we never want to stop each other from seeing them, we don't want to be one of these couples that lives in each others pockets always calling and texting and never being able to see friends because the other person doesn't like it. Although from what I'm seeing it seems all the range to be one of those couples but who am I to judge were all different.

If there is something I've noticed in life recently is that people aren't always what they seem, something can happen in life and you soon see someones true colours.

Anyways moving on last weekend my and Joel (boyfriend) went to London for London Film and Comic in Hammersmith. Which was incredible was a bit too much at times due to the heat and being in such a confined area with so many people. I could have spent so much money on Funko Pop Vinyls which are my new addiction but I held back.

I did manage to get myself hands on Severus Snape from Harry Potter, I spent my whole time looking for him <3

As we approach the 2nd half of the year I've got some awesome things lined up, in a couple of weeks I'm back off to London with Joel to see "Audrey Hepburn: Portraits of an Icon" I have been looking forward to seeing this since it was announced as she is a massive idol of mine.

We're also going to a place called Burger and Lobster, which all they basically sell is burgers and lobster for £20 although I'm not to sure I'd pay £20 for a burger :/

I'm going to see "Bend It Like Beckham" in the theater at the start of September which is also my birthday month! Yay 23 years old and at the moment I have nothing planned this year which is unlike me. In October I'm off to Disney On Ice, finally managed to get tickets Ahhhh!!!! And Frozen has been added to the line up so I'm even more excited!!!!

And to top it off I'm back of to Disneyland Paris with Joel <3 for the Christmas season which I am most excited about.

My full name is Imogen, but people call me Immy, Imz and Immii (How I choose to spell it, if i spell it the German way it would be Immie) I really like my name as there isn't many Imogens about.

8. If you have the choice to pick your own name, what will it be?

I'm not entirely sure but I do like the names Aria, Kiki and Mimi :)

9. What is your fantasy dream?

For my boyfriend to purpose to me in front of the either Cinderellas castle in Florida or Sleeping Beauty's Castle in Paris. But I know that wont happen hehe.

10. Do you wear make up?

Nope, I haven't got the patients for it, I watch my two besties put it on and it takes for ever let alone then taking it off again! I sometimes wear eye shadow and lip stick but on a rare occasion.

11. If you could write a book, what would would the title be and what would it be about?

Tough question and one that I cannot answer

12. What makes you cry?

Movies and films mostly but only when I am alone haha, and what people say to me

Lots of things but most the time they are petty and shouldn't make me angry.

All Time Favourite:

My favourite show on Netflix is "Pretty Little Liars" especially as they now upload the episodes weekly which makes it easier for all us PLL fans out there who live in the UK!

Current Addiction:

My current addiction was "Once Up On A Time" but I binge watched that in a month hehe. If you love Disney, Fairy Tales and Fantasy then this is the show for you!

Wish List:

More recent movies to be added, as at the moment Now TV has more choice but is a lot more expensive. Orphan Black Season 3.

Pet Peeve:

Not having the same content as the US but also Europe. In Germany they have the whole Lizzie McGuire show on there but the UK don't.

Marathon Essentials:

It definitely has to be full movie and TV show box sets so you can just spent the whole weekend binge watching!

The Summer Tag

Hey Everyone, 

How are people doing? It's been too long since I last posted on here but I am writing a few things at the moment but for now I thought I would do some of these Tag's that I've seen on a few peoples blog posts but most recently of Emma's page so check her blog out!

Questions:

1. What's your favourite thing about summer?

My favourite thing about summer is being able to eat Ice Creams and Ice Lollies, to be honest I do eat them all year round but there is something nice about relaxing in the sun with a good ice cream or ice lolly. Not so much in the freezing cold!

2. Do you have a favourite summer drink?

Yes! A nice cold Jack Daniels and Coke especially the new Tennessee Fire flavour <3

3. Is there a special place you like to visit each year?

Nope :) 

4. What's your favourite make up look for the summer?

I don't actually wear any make up :)

5. Dresses or Skirts?

I do love skirts but I love wearing floral vintage style dresses more 

6. Festivals or Vacations?

Ever since having a bad experience with a porta loo I have avoided them ever since hence why I will not attend festivals so therefore Vacations or Holidays as us Brits call them is a winner for me.

7. What's your signature summer hair style?

I tend to wear my hair down and wavy but recently I have been putting it in a side plait :)

8. What's your signature summer sent?

Its got to be "Oh So Sheer" by my Idol Katy Perry

9. Pool or Beach?

Beach! Love the sand, making sun castles and sun bathing although I don't like the sand sticking to me :(

10. BBQ or Seafood?

BBQ FOR THE WIN!!!! Ribs, Kebabs, Burgers, Sausages ... need i go on?

11. Do you tan or burn?

I burn :( and if I do Tan its on my feet and Chest area 

12. Favourite summer activity?

Going for lovely evening walks around the local nature reserve and a good picnic.

Stack Stack

Tsum Tsum, Stack Stack ...

For those that don't know (seriously if you don't then whats wrong with you, just kidding) Tsum Tsum which means Stack Stack in Japanese are tiny, adorable, cute plush's that are deigned to stack on one another hence the name.

They were first announced in Japan in 2013 before coming crazily popular due to the release of the iOS and Android phone game in 2014.

To start with these little bundles of cuteness were only available in Japan before hitting the US and then France. And after a longer year of waiting they finally made it to Clinton's the tale end of last week starting with the first wave being Mickey, Minnie, Tigger, Eeyore, Pooh, Marie, Donald and Daisy and the second wave on the 16th March being Goofy, Pluto, Piglet, Chip, Dale, Dumbo, Stitch and Lady.

 No one is really sure which ones will be released in Clinton's after then but we do know that the Disneystore.co.uk will be stocking them online from the 31st March but no one is aware of which ones will be available to purchase but hopefully it will be the full range of plush's and the special collections which are already available in America and France at this moment.

Luckily my amazing best friend who works over in France between January and November ordered me some from http://www.disneystore.fr/ website and shipped them to the UK for me :D

My mum also kindly ordered me the Cheshire Cat from Japan and then I went on to order the Frozen collection from Japan as well although they will now be available in the US and France from the 3rd of March.

So here is my collection so far which is forever growing ...

Happy New Year

Happy New Year Everyone! Hope you have all had a lovely Christmas and New Years!

Can't believe its 2015 already and in a few days my blog would have been up and running a year which is quite crazy when you think about it and I haven't really written on here as much as I wanted or thought I would.

This year I've decided I'm not going to set my self resolutions as to be honest they get broken within the first 24 hours of the new year so instead I'm setting myself some goals.

Goals:

No.1: Train Hard & Eat Clean

I love going to the gym and exercising as I use this time to reflect but what my problem is I use this as an excuse to just eat rubbish food still which I really don't want to be the case anymore. Nothing wrong with a treat at the end of the week on a Friday but not all the time.

No.2: Loose A Stone Of My Current Weight

I'm not over weight and I am happy with my body but I've gained a few pounds over the last few months so would really like to loose it and then try and maintain my weight.

No.3: Try Not To Let Little Things Annoy Me

Any one who knows me knows I like to moan a lot which is something I do try to do less but never really get anywhere but I really need to start getting less annoyed at things that I shouldn't be. Probably wont last long ha.

I have to say 2014 has been an amazing year and I've accomplished so many things;

2014 Review:

• Celebrated NYE's in London
• 3 years together with the boyf
• First trip to Disney 
• Went to Northern Ireland to meet the In Laws
• Saw Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, Russell Howard, Miranda, Lee Evans and The Vamps live
•  Passed my driving test
• Moved in to my own place with the boyfriend
• Went to Berlin

Things to Come 2015:

• Seeing Sam Smith, Jimmy Carr and The Vamps live
• 4 years with the boyf
• Hopefully going to Disneyland in December
• Another trip to Northern Ireland

Who knows what else 2015 will throw at me but either way I am looking forward to finding out whats in store.

Pocahontas will always be in my top 10 purely because this was the first ever Disney movie I was introduced to as a child and I fell madly in love with John Smith. I loved the music, setting and the story of a man and a women who should not be together and fighting for it. Plus is Meeko just the cutest Raccoon ever :D

I even used to have a toy John Smith and Pocahontas when I was little along with my Lion King Pride Rock Play set.

Nearly 4 months ....

So i have just realized I haven't post anything on my blog for nearly 4 months naughty me. It isn't because I couldn't be bothered I've just had a massive writers block. Perfect time for any update? Yes I think so!

I've been living with Joel now for just over 3 months although it feels like for ever which isn't a bad thing as I feel it has brought us closer together as couple more of a unit which is brilliant. It just works we still have our own space when we want it especially when I'm working and hes not or the other way around.

We have just booked a holiday to Germany at the start of November for Joel's birthday which I am really looking forward to as both of us haven't been before neither have we been on a proper holiday together in the 3 half years of our relationship. We will be staying in Berlin for 4 nights and have lots of things we want to do planned like going up TV Tower which is the tallest building in Berlin with 360 degree views as well as going to Berlin Zoo.

Other than that there isn't much else really going, only 12 days until my birthday cant believe how quick its come around only feels like yesterday I was celebrating my 21st where does time go? This year I am keeping it low key just having a few days of and relaxing as I don't have very much money.

Other exciting news is my bestie is coming back from France in a week for a few days, she has been away working out there for the last 8 and half months which feels like for EVER! Its gone really fast but I am dying to see her its been way to long missed her so much.

Northern Ireland

Morning all,

How are we all doing? I've been a bit dormant for well a while now so I apologies for my absence I've been really busy at work at the moment and this is where I usually find the time on my lunch breaks to write my posts.

So last time I left you guys I was only a few days off visiting Northern Ireland with my boyfriend to get introduced to the family. I had a really good time actually, his family were so welcoming and made me feel right at home. We didn't get up to too much which was nice in a way as it is nice to relax for once unlike my usual holiday

Whilst over there he showed me around his local area, where his friends lived and where he went to school and would hang out. We went and took a walk around the Craigavon Lakes which were a 40 minuet walk from him house which was lovely, I managed to get some really good photos of the swans and ducks whilst there.

We also went in to Belfast on two occasions, the first being to celebrate St Paddy's Day early with his two best friends Jayne and Dave. We went to a place called Bubeque with is an amazing American style BBQ meat place. I had a beef brisket sandwich, corn bread and mac n cheese, if your ever in Belfast hit this place up its amazing and the service is so quick.

We went on a bit of bar/pub crawl and had a drink in each pub. The pubs other there are awesome they're all really different and none of them are alike. One we went to had this vintage theme to it in the balcony seating area with floral prints and the next one had booths, it was an old pub which is leased out by the national trust ... I paid £6.20 for a Jack Daniels and coke I wanted to cry :'(

We ended the night at this place called Alley Cat which is another American style food restaurant which also has a bar so me and Jayne ended up having a tea pot cocktail :D

On our second trip to Belfast we went and did some shopping and looked at the sights. I managed to persuade my boyfriend to let me go to the Titanic Quarter which is a museum dedicated to the Titanic. This is a museum which walked around at your own passe which is quiet good and is split into lots of sections and different eras before the titanic was built, when it was being built and what happened after it happened.

I found it really interesting to take more of a look in to what happened, and the events leading up to the disaster. I would recommend it but it is quiet expensive.
