Disneyland Paris 17th September 16: Shopping Haul

I cannot believe its been nearly 2 weeks since my day trip to Disney and Disney Blues have settled in that's for sure especially when you've only gone for a day. To me it seemed totally bizarre and worse off than not going because I'm used to having 5 days in the parks rather than the 1 but I did have the most amazing time and managed to pick up some great goodies so lets take a look what I brought!

New 2016/2016 Disney Parks Range
Can we just take a moment to appreciated how beautiful this new collection is? I'm not 100% sure if its new merchandise for the anniversary or just whether they fancied a reboot but we shall see come April next year. Either way I love this range as you can see I brought a few bits from it and could have purchased more.
1. Disneyland Paris 2016 Photo Album (€16.99)
I have been dying to get a photo album from Disney ever since I went in 2014 and I stupidly didn't get one and then in 2015 they didn't have any so when I saw this one I had to have it and as it fits 200 photos inside it was perfect for 3 trips so far.

2. Disneyland Paris 2016 Photo Frame (€12.99)
As I think I've mentioned about 100 times since my 2014 trip the aim was to get a photo frame every year I went and in 2015 they didn't have any as for some reason they sold all of the stock and started stocking 2016 stuff before November so here I am with this years frame luckily!

3. Disney Parks 2016/2017 Mug (€12.99)
I always bring back a Disney mug, glass or some sort of bowl and after seeing this on somebody's vlog before I went I knew I just had to have it. This collection is just so beautiful I love the overall style as well as all the characters enjoying the park but most of all all the rides in the background hello Tower or Terror and the castle of course.

4. Disneyland Paris 2017 Calendar/Desk Version (€9.99 each)
Everyone needs a calendar in normal and desk form of course! What I love about this one is its in the same theme as all the other items as well as having a count down to the anniversary plus who doesn't want to look at Disney all day sat at they're desk??

5. Disney Parks 2016/2017 Shopper Bag (€4.99)
I purchased this in between the Studios and the main park on one of the little stalls. I hadn't seen this version around I had only seen the one from the old Disney range and with having so many bags of shopping I thought it would be useful to put all my stuff in together which also made it easier on the coach so we didn't loose any thing!

6. Christmas Decorations (€9.99 and €12.99 but €6.99 with offer)
How cute are these? Now I love Chip N Dale they are my boys and the funniest character meet I have had so far so when in the Christmas shop and I spotted the decoration on the left I just had to get it as a little memento from my trip. Then when I got to the till I had spent over 25 euros and the women offered me the cute Chip N Dale macaroon decoration which I didn't pick up last year so obviously with just meeting them again I had to get it!!!!

7. Disney Pins (Varied depending on Colour)
As also mentioned in another few posts that I have always picked up the pins and then put them back down but this year I finally decided I would get a couple. Shame I didn't start back in 2014 as I've missed out on some I really would have like but oh well I ended up getting these 3 ...

9. Beauty and The Beast/Marie Tsum Tsum (€5.99 each)
I love collecting these little balls of fluff but over the last couple of months I haven't really been all that bothered with the Tsum Tsum Tuesday because its become so bad with orders being cancelled and people missing out that unless its a collection I REALLY want I would rather wait for the Clinton's release. I did manage to pick up Belle and Beast which were the only 2 I wanted along with the new DLP exclusive Marie and she was the only one left!!!

10. Marie Shaped Pen (€5.99)
Along with the super cute Marie I got this amazing Marie pen as well. They are so hard to write with but I just love the way they look. Last time I got Sorcerer's Mickey maybe I will get a different one each time.

14. Goofy Sweets/Disneyland Paris Sweets (Various Costs)
I can never not come away from Disney without purchasing some sweets and chocolate especially the Goofy Sweets because they are the best and French Haribo are way more better than the UK fact! I really loved the Disneyland Paris Castle chocolate that I brought but it melted slightly hence why I didn't take a close up photo.

So this is what I brought and concludes my September 2016 Day Trip series. Cannot wait till my next trip in 4 months and 12 days (February 2017) which will be during Season of the Force cannot believe I actually will get to experience it even if for one day!

Review: September Tokyo Treat Box

I love this time of the month when I receive a message of my mum saying my box has come especially after watching other people get they're boxes early it gets me super excited for my own.

Now my August box came super quick when usually it takes the full allotted time to come and this box came on the 17th September so still pretty early but not as early as last month.

So as mentioned in my previous post which you can read here I mentioned this months theme because I was so excited I couldn't contain my excitement. This month they have done a special Mirai Suenaga x Tokyo Treat V Pokemon theme which is really great because Tokyo Treat for the first time have made 3 exclusive treats for the box the only downside to this is you get one or the other so you will either get the Pokemon snacks or the Tokyo Treat snacks when a lot of people would have preferred a mixture of the two (I know I did).

Now I know I said last months was my favourite box but at the moment this one is by far because it was full of Ramune candies and a Ramuna drink. I just love this flavour so much at the moment and wish I could get more of it in the UK.

I do love the little booklets that they include within the boxes they are full of lots of information about the snacks within the box and also about how you can spend your time in September in Japan.

Items Received:
This time instead of writing in"Italic" what the products are as mentioned in the little book provided I will just give my own comments along with pictures and a rating out of 5 so here goes ...

Mystery Yume Twins Item (5/5)
Any bonus free item is great especially when it is stationary. This cute little note book has two different styles of paper inside. I love the cafe theme with the little characters and drinks.

Chocolate Umaibo (5/5)
Anything that is Chocolate is a big hit with me and after having a similar item but in stick form a few boxes ago I was glad to see these back in bite size form and they were delicious. Its hard to describe the texture but they are kind of like a puff style and felt like there was a melted chocolate in the middle.

Super Sour Lemon Gum (5/5)
WOW super sour for sure! I love sour stuff and this lemon gum was super sour for sure defiantly made my taste buds tingle. The lemon taste didn't last that long but then I find that with most gums but the initial flavour was yum!

Moguchuu Strawberry Soft Candy (3/5)
Who doesn't love soft candy? But I have to say I've had nicer strawberry chews by Hi-Chew and Pucca which have the little chewy bits inside as well.

Crazy Cola Ramune Candy (10/5)
RAMUNE CANDY!!!! This has to be the best stuff out of the box because once its been sucked on and then bitten it starts to foam and not just a pathetic foam but crazy out of your mouth foam!

Pakkucho Disney Character Biscuits (10/5)
First ever Disney item in my box since I've been subscribed and its super cute little chocolate biscuits with loads of different Disney Characters on them. There is so many its awesome and I've seen even more that I didn't have in my box online. The chocolate inside was so creamy and there was lots of it.

Yakisoba Sauce Flavoured Corn Puffs (5/5)
So this box was full of crisp type snacks this month which pleases me as I love crisp and trying new flavours as well. Now I've never had Yakisoba before and I'm not really sure what it is I imagine some sauce or seasoning I should really google it. These were a simple corn puff snack with flavouring which tasted yummy!

Easy to Make Soft Candy Ice Cream Bars DIY Kit (5/5)
Woo another DIY Kit that I totally didn't suck at haha! It was simple If I had I would have been ashamed with myself even though It was simple it tasted amazing a bit Ramune flavoured due to the sauce that comes with it so a win win for me.

Japanese Corn Potage Snack (10/5)
Now these were the BEST!!! I have never had Potage or anything Potage flavoured but these were amazing and tasted so good. They are another corn puff type snack and kind of shaped to look like potatoes and kind of just melted in your mouth. The little designs on the packet are so cute.

Maple Butter Beer Ramune (10/5)
Told you this box was bursting with Ramune candy and this one was extra amazing with the Harry Potter theme and flavouring. Now I wasn't 100% sure if I was going to like this as the butter beer drink at the studios made me sick but this was actually amazing and I would love some more as it didn't last long!

Sour Plum Pretzel Sticks (0/0)
I am not even scoring these! They were awful! The taste was just overall sour and mixed with the plum it didn't leave a very nice after taste.

Kuppy Ramune (5/5)
How cute are these? The packaging for this is so kawaii and plus its free from 7 different things meaning that everyone can have it if they are allergic to the following ...
I have to say it didn't taste like your normal Ramune candy but it did still taste yummy.

Mirai Suenaga x Tokyo Treat Jelly (1/5)
Now this is one of the 3 special collaboration items that were made by Tokyo Treat but I have to say I wasn't really that bothered by this one I didn't like the texture or flavour sorry guys!

Mirai Suenaga x Tokyo Treat Ramune Soda (10/5)
Now I only tried Ramune Soda for the first time back in July when I was at Hyper Japan and we brought Blueberry and Strawberry flavoured and they were amazing but now after trying this I wish I just stuck to original as oh my its amazing! I love the glass bottles with the marbles in they're so unique.

Mirai Suenaga x Tokyo Treat Chocolate Crackers (5/5)
Now this is the 3rd special item by Tokyo Treat and these were essentially chocolate covered crackers they were in the shape of like a banana and they had a slightly spicy taste to them but were really nice. The packaging on all of these 3 items are really and super cute.

Chip Star Savory Shrimp (5/5)
More crisps you say? Told you this box was full of them and I am delighted these were like the UK Pringles and these are Shrimp flavoured although when you first taste them you are like ok these don't really taste of shrimp but after a little bit the flavour kicks in and I actually really liked them.

So as you can see from all my scoring this box was a really good one with lots of crisps and ramune flavoured treats. Only thing I wished was that the special items were mixed up and you got one of the Pokemon bits as well as the collaboration items but other than that another great box.

Next months box is Halloween/Autumn flavours which I am excited to try!

You can read my other Tokyo Treat box reviews for MarchAprilJune  and August here:)

Thanks for reading. I purchased with my own money and I was NOT paid to review this by Tokyo Treats.

Disneyland Paris 17th September 16: Trip Report

Wow what a trip we had, it was definitely knackering and long but it was totally worth it and the fact I enjoyed it that much I have booked up for the next trip.

We set off around 9:30 pm on Friday 16th September from Bristol and the coach leaving from Bristol was pretty rammed probably 80% full I would say and apparently it was fully booked with more people joining us at Swindon.

So the aim was to get to Dover for 3 am to get the Ferry across to France at 4:10 am and I have to say everything ran to time and we even got a half hour break when they swapped over the drivers. We got of the Ferry at 7 am French time and arrived in the parks at 11:30 am as we had to have a break. By this time I had been awake over 24 hours as I struggled to sleep on the coach but I am glad the kids managed to sleep as I think they wouldn't have enjoyed it otherwise.

By the time we had parked up, gone through security checks and been to the ladies it was now midday and we were ready to start our adventure ... in the rain. I am convinced I jinxed it because I said I wouldn't mind doing Disney in the rain and it did rain but luckily not the whole trip. With it being a Saturday I knew it was going to be busy as weekends are always busier what ever the season but I didn't let this ruin our day I just knew we wouldn't be able to do as much as if we were there on a week day.

First of all we went and visited the Disney Park because if you have never been to Disney before then this is a must do first for any new comer. We stopped at the Fantasia gardens for a few photos before moving on towards the fountains to take a look at the newly gardened area and get some more photos.

After having a slight issue with one of our tickets we were finally in to the park and taking the most beautiful walk down Main Street USA and up to Sleeping Beauty's Castle. Now even though I'm not a massive Sleeping Beauty fan I do appreciate how beautiful the castle is in all her glory especially after her recent re paint.

I can't believe that Punzie was out but it was a shame she was only doing promotional work for the 25th Anniversary next year and I spotted her on the hill by the castle so decided to go and say hello and I am so glad I did as she was amazing and so beautiful. I wish I filmed our conversation because until I go again that's probably the closest I'll get to her but until next time punzie!

We then took a wonder around Adventureland and stumbled across my two favourite people Chip and Dale and I sure do love them I think they are my best character meet and greet experiences so far and I was so pleased to meet them again. When I walked up to the cast member to ask him to take some photos for me he said to them that Ariel has come to visit which made me laugh because of my red hair.

I went straight in for a hug with them both and told them that I was so happy to see them and that I has to come back to see them. They then started to sniff me to see if they could remember me before both of them asked me to marry them haha which was the best thing ever although there was a few huffs after they finally were both happy for me to marry them both ... Sorry Joel!

I love a good selfie and it made me laugh that I got one with the boys and handed my camera back to the CM to take some photos of my sister, niece and nephew that he took a selfie of himself cause I left the camera that way made my day!

Next stop lunch time and for the first time ever I ate in Restaurant Hakuna Matata after loads of recommendations from my Disney friends and I am so glad that I did because those Hakuna fries were to die for. We decided to make it cheaper that we would eat here and it cost me 15 euros for a drink, main, side and a dessert I opted for the lamb kebab and it was yummy!

After lunch we decided to hit some rides in the Disney Park and we only managed to go on Pirates of the Caribbean, Casey Jr. Story Book train and the Story Book boat ride which was next to it. We did try Buzz's Lazer blast but as it was so busy we would have missed the parade which is a shame really.

Now they didn't believe me when I said that people will que for these things for ages up to an hour before and when we got there 15 minuets before it began there wasn't really anywhere great to stand but luckily we managed to find some railings the kids could stand on to see a bit better and they enjoyed it either way.

With time now pressing on we headed back up Main Street to grab some tea before heading to the other park. It was a shame that they didn't get to see much of the other park as by the time we got in there it was nearly 8pm and we wanted to get on Ratatouille which is one of the best rides there and they loved it!!!!!! and it was so much fun to ride it with them.

Time for Disney Dreams! The best bit of the whole day is watching this show when the park closes and every time it gets me real good even re-watching the videos I start to tear up its just so magical. We were lucky to get an amazing spot as a french family let us in a little gap.

And now it was time to leave the most magical place in the world. We all got back to the coach at 23:00pm and we ended up leaving around midnight as someone got lost which was fine as we had a lot of time to kill even with a stop in the middle we were at the ferry port by 3:30am and our sailing wasnt until 6:10am but we did have to go through security before hand.

We ended up getting back around 11:30am on Sunday and I worked out I had 5 hours sleep from waking up at 6:30am Friday morning and going to bed at 23:00pm on the Sunday but it was totally worth I'm just glad I took a pillow and blanket in the end. I can't wait for the next one roll on February!
