This Week On Instagram So Far

Happy Bank Holiday weekend everyone! Now this post is a little early this week and this is only because I am actually off away for the week this evening only down to Newquay with the family to stay in a caravan but internet access is limited so I wont be posting whilst I'm away but I'll be sure to fill you in when I am back!

So far this week on Instagram;

1. Alice in Wonderland Socks - Ok So I LOVE Alice in Wonderland so when I popped in to Primark to look for some shorts and came across these really cute socks I just had to get them they were only £2.50 and they're so comfy!

2. Five Guys
On Monday my boyfriend and I attended the Overwatch live launch event at the cinema where they show you all the trailers and talk about how the game was made so we decided as we were both coming from work that we would grab a Five Guys. Five Guys has to be on of my favourite burgers but most of all I love the Freestyle Coke machine! This time I had Fanta Raspberry.

3. Cupcake Fresh Face Mask - I've just posted a review for this actually which you can see here!

4. New Clothes - With putting on a little extra weight I've been in desperate need of some new clothes well only trousers really but I managed to pick up these beauties for £12.99 from H&M

5. All Packed - As mentioned above I go away today and naughty me only packed last night but then ended up re packing as everything was getting in the way. I love my Happy Jackson Holiday Essentials that I brought from them last year along with my Alice and Wonderland Pjs ;) I always take a book when I go and this time after love Orange is the New Black on Netflix I had to pick up the book!

6. My beautiful Nephews - My two cuties with they're new hair do's all ready for holiday

So far the weather is actually looking good for next week so here's hoping! See you all in a week and be sure to give me a follow to see what I get up to :D

Beauty Product Review: Lush Cosmentics Cupcake Fresh Face Mask

Ok so I'm not really one who does beauty products reviews but after using this product I thought I would give it a go.

I have quite a bad problem with oily skin and I've tried a lot of products to help with this but with no luck so one day I decided I would have a noise at what products Lush cosmetics do and came across a fresh face mask called Cupcake. After reading a lot of reviews people have said it was good for oily skin so I went to the shop to have a look and the shop members recommend the same thing.

The face mask is fresh so it gets made a few days before it comes in to the store and has to be kept in the fridge and has a use by date like food does. What I like about it is that it's all natural ingredients so you could use it every day if you liked unlike usual face masks.

The ingredients are Coco Butter, Linseed, Coco Powder, Peppermint, Spearmint and Sandalwood oils which are all meant to help absorb excess oils and calm break outs. It's quite hard to spread on your face as the mask does harden very quickly but your meant to leave this on for 10 minuets before rinsing off with warm water. I have found its a messy process so maybe washing it off in the shower might be easier.

I've used the mask 3 times now and I have to say that my skin does look different and not as oily and that my spots have died down a bit. But what I love the most is that my skin feels so clean and soft after using the product the cleanest it's ever felt.

Only downside is that the pot costs £6.75 but there isn't very much of it as the pot is very small but it's meant to last 4 weeks before the best before date and smells lovely.

Would I buy this again? At the moment yes I would buy another pot if I keep having the same results and what's great is that every 5 pots you bring to the shop they're give you a free fresh face mask!

*This product was brought and paid for by myself, Lush aren't paying me to review this and all comments and thoughts are my own*

What products would you recommend for oily skin?

What I'm Currently Watching

I haven't done one of these posts in a while but I thought with so many good TV shows on at the moment or just finishing it would be the perfect time :D so far this year there has been so many incredible shows like Marcella and Night Manager that had me gripped from the word go!!

Currently Watching:
Peaky Blinders
So season 3 of Peaky Blinders is currently on the TV but I am actually just starting Season 2 which I am binging of Netflix. My family watched this when it was actually on BBC 2 the first time around but for some reason its taken me till now to get around to watching it.

I absolutely love the cast in this show especially Cillian Murphy there is just something so likeable him even though he is the fierce boss of a gang set back in Birmingham in 1919. I am looking forward to seeing more of Annabelle Wallis who plays his love interest in the first season and also Tom Hardy's character ;)

Awkward
Can I just sit here and cry a moment? You ask why well this show is now officially over with the last episode airing in the states on the 24th May. I had been meaning to watch this show ever since Amazon Instant added the first season to Prime and slowly over the years they added more and more before I finally decided to get watching.

What's a shame is that I binge watched 5 and half seasons in 2 weeks and now its officially over although I do really hope they may consider a season 6! I have never screamed at a TV show so much in my life!!!!!! But I love it and need more! Will Matty and Jenna get back together? I hope so!!!!

Game of Thrones
Don't worry I won't spoil anything for you as I am so not like that but Game of Thrones came back at the end of April with the ultimate question on everybody's lips "IS JON SNOW DEAD" and your have to watch to find out!!

So far we are 6 episodes in and its incredible as always never fails to disappoint there is some amazing story lines going on at the moment and one that makes me real sad! "Hold the door" :'(

Sailor Moon
So I have literally only just started this because so many people have been recommending it to me so I have finally decided to give it ago starting with the 90's series and then I'll move on to the new stuff after.

Orphan Black
I love love love this show! Tatiana Maslany is one of the most talented actresses of all time in my eyes playing all these clones it must be so weird when filming the different parts but the episodes are always so well put together. I am so glad that Netflix have the rights to share new episodes weekly here in the UK otherwise its really hard to watch.

I am loving this season at the moment especially getting to see Alison and Donnie some more they're definitely my favourites. Can't believe there is only two more episodes of the season left!

Jane the Virgin
Another show that I have been meaning to watch for ages but missed it being aired in the UK on E4 originally but luckily Netflix uploaded the first season and I had spotted season two had just started to air in the UK so was quick to record this and binge watch.

I do have to admit that when I started watching this I wasn't 100% sure If I was really going to enjoy it but as the season went on I fell more in love with the story and characters. Petra has really pissed me off with taking Rafael's sperm to have his baby but actually I think pregnancy suites her and has made her become really nice.

I really wanted Jane and Rafale to sort things out but I'm not sure now we will have to see! Season 2 has finished in the states but were only half way through in the UK.

Fear The Walking Dead
OK so I am going to just be completely honest here I loved season 1 and was so excited when they announced season 2 and it started off where it left off and I thought OK this is just a little slow like the first season was but were now at the mid season finale and its STILLLLL BORING! You can defiently see by looking at the viewer ratings that I wasn't the only as slowly through the episodes it has dropped.

Me being me if I have started a show and have watched more than 2 episodes then I will continue to the end. So lets hope after the break it comes back better.

Excited For:

Wayward Pines
As soon as season 1 finished I had been waiting for the announcement of season 2 which I appeared to miss and the next I heard of it was when my partner told me it was back on TV tonight!!!! So now I am massively excited although I cannot even remember where we left it I best go do some goggling!

The Three Musketeers
Yay my boys are back this weekend although once again another show I didn't even realise got renewed but hay ho here we are with a new season and new stories to be told. I'm not 100% sure what is up with BBC but they always seem to change the day its aired every season and the time. But apparently this is to the be the final season NOOOOO!!!!

Orange is the New Black
Same place, same day, same time be there for be square ;) This is just clock work now and cannot wait for season 4 to begin! I think I'll do the same as last time and not binge watch this as it makes it last longer.

Just Finished Watching:

Marcella and Night Manager
OK so I have clubbed these two together even through one is ITV and one is BBC its just because we're nearly half way through the year and so far these two shows are my favourite by far they're just both incredible but it different ways! These two will definitely be battling it out for awards next year and me as a voter I have no clue who I would choose.

I don't really want to spoil anything but if you love drama and I mean gripping drama then these shows are for you. I was constantly screaming at the TV and on the edge of my seat whilst watching them I swear I was panicking for them! They're both police/detective related and are incredible each in they're own way.

I think the cast for The Night Manger is my favourite with the likes of Tom Hiddleston, Hugh Laurie, Olivia Colman and Elizabeth Debicki.

2 Broke Girls
Renewed for a 6th season? Yes please! I love this show and I actually love it more than New Girl I have to say when choosing what I watch first 2 broke Girls always will win! Once again in this season you see the girls up to they're usual tricks and the girls actually come in to some money this season and have decided to open a dessert bar whether this will actually take off unlike the cupcake business who knows guess we'll have to wait till season 6 ;)

New Girl
I love this show, its great cast and funny humour never fails to make me laugh. After finding season 3 a little boring I was glad to see things had changed in season 4 and season 5 which has just finished. I was slightly worried that Zooey wasn't going to be in the show for the first half but Megan Fox stepping in and actually only for a few episodes was great and I wouldn't mind seeing her back for some more. FINALLY CECE AND SCHMIDT GOT MARRIE!!! About time!!!

What TV shows are you currently watching or looking forward to?

My Desk

OK so I thought I'd do something a little different this week on my blog and give you a little guided tour of my desk at work.

Now before you all start yawning and say well that's just boring well to me I quite like my desk everyone gives theirs they're own personal touch maybe some don't but I certainly have in the last year especially as you spend a lot of time when working in an office environment just looking at your computer and the same desk dividers so I fancied cheering my desk up a bit and making it less plain and boring to the eye. So here is what I've done ...

You just have to have cute stationary especially when it is all Disney and looks so kawaii! Everyday is a Disney Day ;)

I love calendars they're something I will always buy but I usually only have one until last year when I found the 365 Disney Photos a day Calender which was just a must have for me!!!! But I couldn't just have one because I like to still be able to view my month as a whole so I never forget what is going on.

Yup and my actually computer monitor has become home to a few bits and bobs over the years like the new Lego Disney blind bag figures and Kinder Chocolate Belle whoops! Not many people in my office have changed they're backgrounds on they're PC but me being me I just had to and I feel in love with the Disneyland Paris Valentines day promo photos they did they're just beautiful.

And finally my collection of postcards from various places mostly Disney, I love the ones from Disneyland Paris because they just remind me of my upcoming day trip and birthday plans next year.

So that's what I've done to try make my desk more cheerful by filling it with things I love and happy memories! Anyone I work with can definitely tell I love Disney thanks for sure!

What's your desk like? Immy xoxoxo

Tokyo Treat: New Yume Twins Kawaii Box

Hey everyone, I hope you're all doing well and enjoying the sunshine we're having at the moment.

As many of you know I order a monthly subscription box of Japanese snacks and candies from a website called Tokyo Treat which in my last post I may have mentioned that I cancelled my subscription (I tell a lie I have subscribed again) due to money reason but the other day they announced a new box they're going to be releasing in June called "Yume Twins" which is a monthly subscription of everything cute and Kawaii you could ever WANT!

I have been wanting to try one of these Kawaii boxes for while but after reading so many bad reviews I had been slightly put off until now! If this box is anything like Tokyo Treat's candy/snack subscription it will be incredible and I am dead excited to give this ago.

The box is $23.99 + $6.99 shipping a month making this $29.99 which is about £21 a month which I don't think is too bad considering this will contain 8/10 only licensed items a month ranging from plushes, key rings, figures and stationary. You will see items from Hello Kitty (yes please), Ban Dai, Amuse, Sailor Moon and many more!

They're currently offing 40% of using the voucher code "EarlyBird" which makes the box £14.65 including shipping for the first month which will be the July box!

What is also great is that if you are currently subscribed to both boxes they are working on some sort of discount as lot of members have mentioned they wouldn't be able to afford both but will try one of the Kawaii boxes due to the offer so more to come on that.

I am tempted to try and do my first unboxing video of this box but I am not 100% as I get quiet shy maybe I'll give it a go and if not ill just do my usual blog post. Dead excited for this to come and at a bargain price!

DayTrip to Disneyland Paris: 17/09/2016

Ahh I cannot believe it I will be getting my Disneyland fix this year after all!

I'm admin on a Disneyland Paris facebook page and a family posted a poster about a day trip to DLP so how could I say no? Exactly I couldn't turn down the offer when its only costing £99 per person for coach, ferry crossing and park tickets to both parks!

The money raised will be going towards fundraising for Diabetes UK so its for a good cause as well.

As you would have seen on previous posts that I wouldn't be attending Disneyland Paris this year as I am saving to go during the 25th Anniversary celebrations for my 25th in September 2017 so to actually be able to visit for just a day this year will be amazing and the fact its only 3 days after my birthday is even better!

I will be going with my mum, my two sisters and my nephew and niece, I think they're old enough now to be able to put up with the long journey on the coach and ferry and to be honest they're be able to sleep through the journey where as for me I think it will be a long day and a bit hehe.

As we only have one day in the parks it will have to be child based as this will be they're first time visiting DLP and they're not tall enough for some of the rides like Space Mountain (maybe I might be able to squeeze a ride on this one) which is fine because I also love all of the children's rides who doesn't ;)

All I know is that we must see Disney's Magic on Parade and Disney Dreams at the end of the day otherwise they day is free for all to go and do what ever they like. Whether we will manage to meet any characters I am not sure although I would love them to meet Mickey and Minnie and Chip and Dale but we would have to see what happens on the day and how busy it is!

ONLY 128 Days and counting till I am back home ;)

Captain America: Civil War and Jungle Book Live Action

I love going to the cinema even though it is expensive when there isn't an offer on but there is something about watching movies for the first time on the big screen. I rarely go to the cinema usually probably once/twice a month so then to go two evenings in a row is great especially seeing
two amazing movies!

Captain America: Civil War

Can I please go and see this again? This is how much I really enjoyed this movie!

I have been waiting for this film since the 2nd Avengers came out only last year in fact when at the end we got to meet the new Avengers who I love especially Scarlett Witch!

And before you ask I am #TeamCap although I do love Iron Man as he was the first Marvel movie I watched in fact but there is something about the Captain America movies I just love (yes Chris Evans being extremely hot being one of the factors).

I don't plan on giving too much away as I know some of you may not have seen the movie yet but I have to say this is actually one of my favourite Marvel movies at the moment as per usual it was full of whit and humour along with the classic fighting scenes. However much I say I'm #TeamCap actually watching Ironman and him fight makes me really sad.

They have brought together such a range of superheroes all in one movie and it just works really well with the introduction of Black Pantha and the new Spiderman. If I am honest when Peter Parker was introduced in to the movie I wasn't 100% sure what I thought and If I was going to like him but as we went through the movie and in to the big fight scene his character was amazing and so funny much different to the spidermans we have seen before and I really really liked this!

And as for Antman he was just brilliant another movie that I really love and another character that added to the film Paul Rudd is just hilarious I couldn't stop laughing from the moment he comes on the screen!

Overall I think this movie is great and definitely lived up to expectations and I cannot wait to see this again! I shall leave you with this ;) "Tony Stank" haha!

Jungle Book Live Action

OK so I am going to be completely honest here I was so excited to see this movie when I first heard they were doing Jungle Book as a Live Action and when I saw the promo posters I was screaming like a school girl! But when I then saw a trailer I wasn't 100% sure If I was going to like it :(

BUT I was wrong it was amazing! The CGI was incredible along with all the special effects, the voice overs and the characters speaking was the bit that I was most worried about but they did such an amazing job.

Neel Sethi as Mowgli was perfect the boy has such character and brought the movie to life. It must have been so hard to act for this movie and he did the most incredible job and deserves an award for his acting.

What I love about this movie is that its based more on the book rather than the Disney Jungle Book animation and I cannot wait to see it again. Its such a happy go lucky movie with lots of character and amazing animal companions you feel you can relate to! I love Baloo!!!!

Cannot wait for Alice in Wonderland, Finding Dory and The Secret Life of Pets coming out soon!
